For the past six or seven years, I've made a Christmas decoration for my sons, instead of sending them Christmas cards. And since Number One Son has his birthday on 2nd December, it makes sense to send his with his birthday present. And Number Two loves getting his Christmas decorations up for the beginning of December, so I can't keep him waiting either.
This year I've made two little wall hangings, they just need some hangers - I'll pop into my LQS today to get them - and they can go in the post tomorrow.
This was a Gail Pan pattern from a year or two back.
I don't think I'll be doing very much Christmas sewing this year, as I'm keen to finish my UFOs before the end of the year, so I can start something new.

What darling little quilts. It's and adorable pattern and I love how you've done it.
My Christmas sewing is actually last years ufo Christmas sewing. I'm determined to finish it. My husband reminded me that Christmas is one month from today !!!
Very pretty. That's a lovely idea - your sons must have quite a collection now.
I know your sons will love these Christmas treasures forever, Amanda. I would much prefer something like that to a card.
So lovely!
Greetings from Finland! :)

Oh, those are fun and adorable!
And I agree with Kay -- these lil' collectables would mean so much more to me than a card; the card will see the garbage bin once Christmas is over, but the decorations will be brought back out every year :)
Happy Birthday to your son. What a good idea for a collection.
