Stole

The vicar of our local church is leaving at Christmas, and I was asked by the leader of the children's group to make him a stole. No, I didn't know what it was either until I looked it up. It's a long scarf worn by vicars when in their 'service uniform'. I was given a load of drawings done by the children and asked if I could use them as inspiration. I finished it a couple of days ago and am actually pretty pleased with the outcome.

Over the years that I have read your blog I have noticed that you have done such a variety of quilting and sewing. Your talents keep growing as you do new and varied things. This is beautiful, the fabric that you've used and the way you've incorporated the children's pictures is just amazing!
