Aztec

I was determined to get this finished, before it disappeared under the piles of mess in my sewing room, and luckily had plenty of time yesterday to get on with it. So, it's complete, label, hanging sleeve and all, ready to get lost somewhere else in the house since we're decorating the hall, which is probably where it will go.

It's real raw edge appliqué, since the pieces were stuck down only and are kept in place by the quilting lines, which are a quarter of an inch apart. It looks a bit wonky here, but I don't think it's quite as wonky really.

This turned out great! It has really nice contrast and the stitching just seems to bring it all together.

This is wonderful, Amanda. I'm so glad I am finding a little more time to be able to catch up with you again. You have been very busy indeed.
