More sewing today

Yesterday was a good day. I managed everything I'd planned; finished An Angels Story quilt top (does anyone know where the apostrophe should go in that?); quilted and bound Going Round in Squares (just the hanging sleeve and label to go); and finished hand quilting A Fishy Tale. The last two were planned to go in the exhibition and be put up for sale, but I don't know if I can bear to part with them now!

Today I'm off to a workshop at Midsomer Quilting. It's to be based on a map or aerial photograph of where we live, so another modern design. I've been digging out my plain scraps, but they're mostly rather 'muddy' colours, so I may well have to buy some more fabric today. Shame!

Sounds like a good excuse to buy fabric to me ;o)!! Then again, any excuse is probably a good one he he he.
As for the apostrophe ... hmmm, I seem to remember from my old english teacher that if there's just the one Angel then it's Angel's ... but if there's more than one Angel it would be Angels'. Does that sound right to you lol???
Hugs,
Joy :o)

You really got so much accomplished this weekend. Well done! The workshops sounds fascinating - I'll look forward to seeing what you make from it.

Sometimes it is really hard to part with something you have made. Making a 2nd one for yourself doesn't always happen.

If your stash isn't working, then surely it needs a little enhancement. I often feel sad for the people that have so much fabric that they feel guilty about buying more. It is nice to have enough to be useful without so much that you can't shop for more occasionally. I think the Apostrophe is after the last S if the angels are plural. Love all the quilts you've been working on this weekend, I wasn't sure if my comments went through whilst we were camping.

You accomplished so much, and everything looks beautiful. It is hard to part with things sometimes, but if it was fun to make it isn't quite so bad, then another one is possible. Your class sounds fascinating, hope you had a fun time and found just the right fabrics.

Awww... that's as good an excuse as any. I hope you got a lot of beautiful material. That must be so much fun.
