Update 2 - on target

It's been great to please myself today, and I'm really pleased with my progress. Going Round in Squares is now quilted, the bindings on and ready to be sewn down this evening. I didn't do any fancy quilting, just liberated quilting, going roughly around the shapes and around the squares and I'm delighted with the way it looks.

I've done a bit more hand quilting and am now planning a sit down with a cup of tea, a piece of cake, some television or a film, and some hand sewing.

Whew, you have been busy. Your day has been different to mine, we've been to the Imperial War Museum with 13 cubs, a great day though.
I love both your quilts, such different styles but both lovely.

What a lot you have been getting done today! What a nice way to enjoy having the house to yourself. The three quilts you are working on are all beautiful, but each is so different from the others

Sounds like you are enjoying the day...quilting looks great for the pattern design.

Oh My! Have you ever been busy! I love the bright freeness of your Going Round in Squares. And the Angels Story is so soft and different. Doesn't it feel good to get a big quilt to the flimsy stage? Have a relaxing evening sewing on binding.
