Just a short post (131)b

This is just a short post, during a moment of 'feeling a bit better'. Merete challenged us to a week of feet photographs, and this is my feet during the last two days. I've been struck down with a stomach bug and spent the last two days in bed (or the bathroom - too much information?). Rosie's got the hump because I wouldn't let her sit on top of me. I think I'm on the mend now, though absolutely exhausted.

I did manage to do some sewing on Saturday, before I was struck down.  I made five tote bags for Christmas gifts. Do you recognise the patches? They're the ones I made for Bonnie's Orange Crush quilt and then didn't use. They're perfect for these bags though.

What a clever use of those extra blocks. Now I'm inspired to take a look at my extras and figure out what to do with them. And oops I still have to quilt my OC! Glad to hear you are feeling better.

I do so hate it when my stomach gets sick. I'm hoping you're feeling 100% now, Amanda.

Sorry you've been sick, but glad to hear you are on the mend. Your bags came out really nice. If I was close enough I'd bring you some chicken noodle soup.

What a great way to use those leftover blocks.
I am so sorry you have had the stomach flu. Nothing drains your energy like a bout of stomach flu.

What a wonderful way to use those blocks from the Orange Crush quilt. I have a few extra blocks from other quilts too. I may try and use this idea.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better.

Sorry to hear you have not been feeling well; hope you feel better soon! I love the bright bold colors you chose, the blocks do look fabulous as a bag! Wonderful Christmas presents.

Sorry to hear you are feeling down. On the bright side, a nice stomach flu is always good for a couple of lost pounds. The tote bags from the orphaned OC blocks are just adorable. What a nice gift.
