After a really hectic Christmas - visitors for twelve days plus all the preparations beforehand - I was really looking forward to some peace and quiet after the last visitor left. I planned to get all the Christmas decorations down and put away, the house cleaned and then do some sewing. Instead I've been laid low with a stomach ache. It could be a bug, or it could be something I ate, but it's been going on for three days now and I'm exhausted and fed up. Christopher had to go away for a few days so it's been just me and the dog. And I still haven't done any sewing.

So, if you know any funny jokes, do tell me, I need cheering up.

Ouch, that looks like a realy bad stomache ache. I'm not good in jokes, so all I can say is get well soon and laugh at the joy of your puppy!

Can't think of a joke at this time - but do hope you get to feeling better real soon.. .as the old saying goes "Company, like fish, stink after three days." I am sure you were ready for some quiet time.

Do you know why anteaters never get sick.

They are full of antibodies......

Hope you are and around soon. Lucky you got sick after company and not before.

That's a good picture to give a visual of a stomach ache. I understood it immediately. No fun for sure!

:0( Sorry to hear about your tummy.

Have you heard about the chicken?
The butcher chopped off its left wing and left leg. It took awhile, but now its "alright."

Three days??? Amanda, you need to get to the doctor, don't you think? I can see a tummy ache lasting a day, but three? Please take care of yourself.
