Happy Christmas

Well, we're nearly at the end of 2011 and I haven't been too good about blogging recently, which is a shame really as I enjoy writing when I get started and always like to read your comments. I ought to make a New Year's Resolution for 2012 to write more, but I fear that could be the kiss of death!

I have got one thing to show for December so far. I made this for the girlfriend of my elder son's girlfriend's sister - if you can follow that. It wasn't easy as we'd never met, and had to look at fabric and design choices via email. And I didn't greatly care for the colours whilst I was working with them. But it's done, dispatched and arrived and I hope that the recipient will really like it.

BUT can you believe it - I posted it off without taking a photograph of the finished quilt! What a prune.

Well, unless I get around the taking any photographs of the little Christmas sampler that I've made, this will probably be my last visit to my blog before Christmas.

So, HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Merry Christmas Amanda to you and your family. I too have trouble blogging, don't know why as I love the comments too. Hopefully 2012 will be better for me to do it too. How's your cute little puppy? Many hugs, Marie

Sorry you sent off the finished quilt before getting a photo, but it looks lovely so far. Resolving to blog more often makes it seem like a duty. Isn't life full enough already of things we are supposed to do?
Enjoy puppy's first Christmas. Hope she doesn't eat the gifts.

Hi Amanda, I'm so sorry I missed wishing you a Happy Christmas. I've been having a hard time keeping up with my blogging too. That is such a gorgeous quilt. Wow! You've really been busy. I'll wish you a happy new year before something else gets in the way of me visiting again.
