Fruit

Last weekend my local quilt shop, Midsomer Quilting, had an exhibition. It had been inspired by the Twelve by Twelve exhibition held earlier this year and the title was to be Fruit. There were so many wonderful creations, covering a wide range of media and ideas. The slideshow has photographs of - I hope - all of them. I'm afraid my camera really is on its last legs so some of the pictures are not good. I have to get exactly the right distance to get a sharpish photograph and I seem to have missed on some of them. Mine was very poor, but luckily I was able to replace it with one I took at home, hence the different background.

What a lovely variety of fruit quilts. Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the show.

How very interesting to see all the ways "Fruit" were created in a small space. At first, I did not understand the city scene until I realized that it is "The Big Apple" city of New York City.

What a wonderful exhibit! I had so many that I liked best, hard to pick one that was my favorite, really all so creative and artistic. Thanks for sharing.
Maybe Santa will be bringing a new camera?

Wow! These are really amazing quilts. They are all spectacularly artistic. Even the blurry ones show the incredible skill of the quilter.
