Just having fun

(I'm not too sure why the picture looks a little fuzzy, I took it about six times, and they all turned out like that)

I've spent the last two days playing with the last of the fabric goodies that I won in Angela's giveaway. There were lots of little squares and skinny strips in the most gorgeous bright colours. So I decided just to play. I stitched them together in any way that took my fancy, then quilted it by doodling all over it. The quilting in each square is different, and there are odd little bits of quilting in the filler strips too. It was great fun to make and I love the way it looks. Now I'm going to keep my eyes open for more of that colourful fabric.

What a cute little quilt, and I'll bet that it was a lot of fun coming up with all the quilting patterns. It will be something bright and cheerful to look at on winter days.

What a lovely bright quilt to use up all those leftovers, I must add it to my folder of to do things. well done and I also like the meandering quilting it goes with the scrappy quilt look.

Oh how utterly fun and adorable! I didn't even recognize the fabrics at first and then when I looked closer, I saw so many familiar patterns and colors. What a great way to practice quilting and end up with something cheerful and happy at the end.

This is modern art right there. You could frame it and just hang it up! Such fun! The colors just make you feel so happy.

Oh Amanda, I just LOVE this. It is so pretty and unusual ... make one for me ... please!! Some quilters are just artists ... and you are definitely one of them.
