Bird on a Branch

This pattern was published on The Quilt Show site and greatly took my fancy. I've made it very much as specified in the pattern, but didn't add an extra border - I like it as it is. It's hand applique and hand quilted. I love these colours, turquoise and purple are my favourite colour combination at the moment. I hope it's not as wonky as it looks in the photograph!

Amanda...you have talent! That piece is outstanding. The combination of flowers and birds makes it even more special. Where have you chosed to display this hanging?

I think you have found your forte in these smaller quilts and wall hangings. This one is just charming. I hope you have special spot in mind to display it.

Lovely wall hanging Amanda. I really like it, but would not do one myself. Don't do much applique. You are very talented.

Wonky? I'm not sure exactly what that means, but I think this looks fabulous! The colors are perfect and everything is so precise and gorgeous! I am always in awe of you.
