Since I've listed my PIF gifts as finished in my side bar I thought I'd tease you with a glimpse of them. They'll be winging their way to Candace (Wraggedypatches) Lynn (Diary of a Mad Quilter) and Kate (Stitched withLove). I wonder which one will be going where? All will be revealed once they arrive.
Another little gift finished in plenty of time is a wall hanging for my niece who will be 9 at the end of July. I used the free pattern that Lynette Anderson designed, originally for punchneedle but I stitched it as I haven't yet discovered how to do punchneedle.
I've not achieved a great deal today, mostly resting as the 'lurgy' has decided to make itself felt today. I have made a very quick fly screen for the kitchen door and finished off the sewing basket I'm making to keep in the motorhome.

So exciting! I'll be looking for my package! The Noah's ark is wonderful - I really like the scrappy rainbow border and are those hearts around it? How does one make a fly screen?
You always amaze me, Amanda. You say you hadn't the energy to do something, but you show us all these incredible, creative, gorgeous projects you've completed in such a short time. Ahh... I see, it's your magic sewing machine!
Love the quiltlets.
sorry you are not feeling too good.
Love and hugs Gina xxx
Wow, those are all so nice that I'm glad I don't have to choose. As Kay said, you achieve so much. You may not have energy, but you certainly have a strong will.
Love the Noah`s ark wall hanging, its wonderful she will love it,
Take care
Tracey
Your sneak peaks at PIF look lovely, very enticing! You have done a fabulous job on the wallhanging. There is a dvd by Lynette Anderson on how to do punchneedle with an older issue of Australian Homespun - I think Honeysuckle Cottage still has some, and Kim posts overseas.
