I've read about them in English novels and it's fun to see these photos of them.Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07461569436322815787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2522075895037083320.post-15815508992988601432010-06-07T20:33:31.209+01:002010-06-07T20:33:31.209+01:00You're right that is fascinating. I never really thought of coaches as fascinating, but you've shown otherwise, some of them are quite beautiful.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08231046548406452925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2522075895037083320.post-77792999447689717232010-06-07T16:49:52.557+01:002010-06-07T16:49:52.557+01:00Very cool. While that trip today would take about one and a half hours (two with traffic LOL) it was a full day and in bad weather there was a stop-over midway, making it a 2-day trip. There are a few original coaches still around. The museum in Concord (which is the state capital) has a couple and a small museum up north and 2 or 3. The offshoot of the original company now has commuter buses to Boston and other places and is the one I use to get to work from my home in southern New Hampshire (only a one hour trip). I never really thought about that connection until now.suzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13432352442859238887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2522075895037083320.post-79195141385433362342010-06-07T11:58:37.024+01:002010-06-07T11:58:37.024+01:00Looks like a wonderful place to visit!
